Greetings family of Hope.  We are hosting our Jog-A-Thon this year to celebrate healthy choices and help raise money to fund our physical education, music, and art programs for the rest of the year. These programs are highly valued on our campus and we would like them to continue.  You can help your student be an active member in keeping these programs going by supporting our Jog-a-Thon!

Kindergarten and first grade students will have 30 minutes of track time and typically average 10 laps (10:10 - 10:40 AM). Second and third graders will have 45 minutes and typically average 15-20 laps (10:45 – 11:30 AM). Fourth and fifth graders will have 60 minutes and typically average 25-30 laps (8:30 – 9:30 AM). Many students find this is a fun way to exercise during physical education class while raising money for the programs they use each week.

PLEDGESTAR- We are using an online pledge system. Visit to register. Once registered, please follow the prompts to enter each jogger (student and teacher). Once registered, you can use this online system to email friends and family or post the donation link for your student on Social Media. This helps us streamline the record keeping, manage lap counts, and send out receipts. Plus, payments can be made directly through this system to our account! We hope you will help your student gather sponsors for each lap or make a direct donation in their name.  If you don’t want to use the new online system, you can use this paper form and turn in this form by the day of the Jog-A-Thon.

PRIZES- Once your student completes the Jog-A-Thon, we will tally their laps and update their PledgeStar account online (or this sponsor form to send back home with them for collecting their pledges per lap).  Student Prizes are awarded in tiers at $25 donations and above. Grand Prizes are awarded to the top 10 student fundraisers. The class with the highest donation participation rate will win a Class Party!

Look for the flyer that will be coming home with your student!
