Parent/Teacher Conferences

PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES TAKE PLACE IN OCTOBER AND MARCH  OF EACH SCHOOL YEAR.

This year, our conferences will be virtual.

Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled for March 16-26, 2021. This spring, conferences will be conducted differently. We know your time is valuable, so spring conferences are not mandatory, but certainly available to all families. If you would like to schedule a conference to discuss your child’s progress, please reach out to your child's teacher via email. Teacher email addresses can be found by visiting our Directory.

If your child’s teacher has specific concerns about your student’s progress, they may reach out to you individually to arrange a time to meet.

The purpose of the parent-teacher conference is to strengthen the partnership between home and school so your student can be a successful learner.  You will get an update on how your student is progressing.

  • Here are some good questions to ask during the conference:
  • What are my child's strongest and weakest subjects?
  • How can I help my child at home?
  • Does my child finish the work assigned?
  • Is my child working to his or her ability?
  • Does my child work cooperatively with others?

After the conference, be sure to praise your child for their hard work and use the opportunity to prioritize their school life.  Continue to support your student and the teacher by reinforcing the importance of school.  You can communicate with your child's teacher outside of the conference times as needed.
