Clear out your book shelves and donate your books (children or adult) to our Book Exchange program by May 25th.  Our goal is for students to recycle their books at school and be able to pick up some new ones in June for some new summer reading.  Thanks.

Thank you to Sandy Conner for stepping up to serve as our Spring Carnival coordinator for next year. She is already starting to create a team of volunteers willing to help!  She needs a few more volunteers, so contact our office if you want to help!  This is a highlight for students!

Our students at Hope in grades 2 - 5 will participate in the Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR) Program May 8 - 18. Student dismissal times remain the same as normal.

It is important your student not miss any days during the testing period. Please do not schedule any appointments for your student during testing days from 8 AM until 10 AM. 

Help your student perform well by doing the following: 

• Arrive to school early. 
• Make sure your student gets a good night's rest. 
• Provide a nourishing breakfast each morning. 
• Encourage your student to do their best on the test. 
• Remind your student this is an opportunity to show us how much they have learned!

Our kindergarten and 1st grade classrooms are in need of additional Reading Mastery books to supplement our reading program. If your student has moved beyond the Reading Mastery program and no longer need any Reading Master books, we hope you will consider donating the books to our school as a way to help us reduce our expenses and reuse the reading materials. Thank you.
