Kind Coins for Hurricane Relief is a Great Kindness Challenge service project. This inspiring video features 8 year old Jet Stream Jax who lived through Hurricane Harvey and now wants to help all children affected by the devastating series of hurricanes that followed. We invite you to help bring relief and joy through the healing power of play. For every $50,000 raised, we will build a new playground at a hurricane-affected school in Texas, Florida, Louisiana, and Puerto Rico. Building playgrounds will help bring joy, fun, and physical activity to children who have suffered during this natural disaster. Creating safe and happy play spaces will help children heal as they deal with the stress of lost homes, lost loved ones, lost routine, and lost normalcy. To find out more, please visit www.thegreatkindnesschallenge.com/kind-coins-for-hurricane-relief/. Thank you! Your KINDNESS MATTERS!  https://youtu.be/Pwcw3y5pKKw

Dear Carlsbad Unified families,

Attached is a link to our annual survey for the purposes of engaging teachers, staff, parents, students, and the community in the process of setting next year's goals and priorities.

These goals and priorities become part of our LCAP (Local Control Accountability Plan), a three-year plan that describes our overall vision for students, the results we expect to achieve, and key actions we will take to achieve these results. The three-year plan will also describe how our District's budget is aligned with our goals and priorities.

This survey will take about 5 minutes to complete. Again, thank you for your time and your support for the education of our students.
